Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

1.HOW TO ENTER a.The Crystal Mountain Ski Weekend Contest begins on Friday, February 17 and ends on Thursday, March 1, 2012. b.To participate in the contest, you may enter via online at www.marandatv.com c.For entries online, the Station is not responsible for incomplete or incorrect entries. d.One entry per household. Those who enter must be at least 18 years of age or older.

2.ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS a.The contest is open to all WOOD TV, WOTV and WXSP viewers who are 18 years or older. Employees of WOOD TV, WOTV and WXSP, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. b.Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.

3.PRIZES a.Viewers can register to win a ski weekend for four at Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville, Michigan. This includes two-night’s lodging for four people, unlimited skiing and access to cross-country skiing and the Michigan Legacy Art Park. This prize is valued at $1,900.00. b.The winner must pick up their prizes from WOOD TV8. They have two weeks to pick it up at 120 College SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. c.There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

4.WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION a.Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final. b.Winners will be selected on Friday, March 2, 2012. One winner will be selected at random by our web department. The winner must have the correct keyword “ski” to be entering into the drawing. c.Winners will be notified via email and give them instructions for redeeming their prizes.

5.CONDITIONS a.Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent. b.By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. c.Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest. d.The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. e.Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station. f.The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize. g.Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WOOD TV8, 120 College Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
